These terms cover your use of jobexposure.ai (the site) and anything you buy on it. The site is run by Shoulder Season Labs LLC, a company registered in Colorado, United States (we, us). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. What the site offers
The site shows how AI affects a job, one task at a time. For each job in our catalog there is a free exposure map and a development plan. The first step of every development plan is free to read. The rest of the plan is unlocked with a one-time purchase. One purchase unlocks the full plan for that job at all five levels.
Everything on the site is produced by an automated system. Our models rate each task, write each sentence and assemble each plan under rules we set and publish on How the map is made and How the development plan is made. No one at the company reviews or edits individual plans by hand, and no one provides personal coaching or advice through the site.
2. What the content is, and is not
The maps and plans are general information about how AI is affecting work. They are not career, employment, legal, financial or professional advice, and they are not advice about your particular situation. Decisions about your career are yours. We do not promise that following a plan will lead to any particular result, such as a promotion, a new job or job security.
The ratings and the timelines are estimates. They describe what today's AI tools can do with a task and how long adoption tends to take. They are not predictions about any specific employer, and they will change as AI and the workplace change.
3. Buying a plan
When you unlock a plan, the payment is made on a checkout page run by Stripe. Stripe is the seller of record for the payment, which means Stripe sells you the plan on our behalf, collects any sales tax, sends your receipt and handles payment questions. Your card statement will show a charge from Link, Stripe's checkout service, followed by our name. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself.
Prices are shown in US dollars before any sales tax. We can change our prices at any time; a change does not affect a plan you have already bought. During our launch we are stepping the price up over time and we say so on the plan page.
A purchase is for one job's development plan. It is yours to read for as long as the site exists. It does not include plans for other jobs.
4. Refunds
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, for any reason or no reason. The details are in our Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.
5. Your account
When you buy a plan, the email address you pay with becomes your account. There is no password. To sign in, we email you a link; opening it sets one cookie in your browser that keeps you signed in. Keep your email account secure, because anyone who can read your email can open your plan. Tell us at hello@jobexposure.ai if you think someone else has used your account.
Your plan saves the steps you mark as done and the boxes you tick, so you can pick up where you left off on another device.
6. Emails from us
After a purchase we send you the emails needed to deliver and run your plan: the confirmation, your sign-in links and notices about your account. If you chose a reminder at purchase, we also send reminder emails on the schedule you picked, and we send an update when the plan for your job changes in a meaningful way, for up to 12 months after your purchase. Every reminder and update email has an unsubscribe link. Stopping them does not affect your access to the plan.
7. Using the content
The maps, plans, text and design on the site belong to Shoulder Season Labs LLC. You may read them, print them and use them for your own career. You may not copy, sell, republish or redistribute them, scrape the site, or use its content to build a competing product or to train a model. You may share a link to any page, and we encourage it.
Plans link to outside resources such as articles, videos, courses and people to follow. We choose them with care, but we do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their prices or what happens if you use them. We receive no payment for including any resource.
8. Who may use the site
You must be at least 18 years old to buy a plan or hold an account.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the site running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, pause or retire parts of the site. If we ever retire a plan you have bought, we will tell you by email first and give you a reasonable time to save your copy.
10. Limits on our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, the site and its content are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income or lost opportunities, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability to you for anything connected with the site or a purchase is limited to the amount you paid us for that purchase. Some places do not allow some of these limits, so some may not apply to you.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top tells you when they last changed. If a change matters to people who have already bought a plan, we will say so on the site or by email. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be settled between us will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Colorado. If you live outside the United States, you may also have rights under the consumer laws where you live, and nothing here takes those away.
